BHS & Economic Development Host Career Fair

Burwell Jr. Sr. High School and the Burwell Economic Development hosted a Job & Career Fair for students in grades 9-12 on Thursday, March 27th at the Burwell Elementary School Gym. Over 35 local and area businesses, colleges, and military reps were present for the event. Students had over an hour to get information, ask questions about summer jobs, career opportunities, and gain useful information to help them with their future endeavors. Participants generously donated items for door prizes, and each student walked away with a prize. We are very fortunate to have people who took time out of their day to invest in the students at BHS.
