Congratulations to the Homecoming Royalty; Kale Gideon, Keaton Klimek, Colten Krause, Clayton Suckstorf, Shane Weber, Rebekah Birch, Samantha Hughes, McKenna McClintic, Andi Plock, Lacey White.
There will be a Homecoming community pep rally at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 26th in the High School gym. The High School Dismiss at 1:37 pm with no 4th period classes.
The class competition for the "super fan" will take place at the pep rally and winners will be announced at half time of the football game.
The Lady Longhorn Volleyball Team will have a triangular with Palmer & Heartland Lutheran at home on Tuesday, September 23rd at home with games at 5:30/6:30/7:30. They will face Valentine on Thursday, September 25th with C Team, Reserve, and Varsity games at 5/6/7 pm. Go Horns!
The football game will be at 7:00 on Friday, September 26th against the South Loup Bobcats with the coronation of the 2014 King and Queen to follow the game. Coronation will be in the gym in the case of foul weather.
The homecoming dance will be in the High School Commons from 8:30 to 12:30 on Saturday, September 27th.
The theme for this year is “How to Tame your Bobcat." Dress up days are
Monday – Maniac Monday. Crazy but school appropriate.
Tuesday - Decades challenge day - Seniors 1920’s, Juniors 1970’s, Sophomores 1950’s, Freshmen 1980’s , 8th grade 1880’s, 7th grade 1960’s, and Staff is to dress from the decade of their High School graduation. Winning class to receive Pizza Palace Pizzas.
Wednesday – Movie Character Day. From Dirty Harry to Elsa. Who’s your favorite??
Thursday – Gangster vs Nerd Day. Dress as one or the other.
Friday - Purple and White day. Show your school spirit.
