As the Class of 2012 reaches the end of their high school career, there are several items to be aware of during the last week of school.
Students will receive their check-out sheets on Tuesday, May 1st prior to 8:04 AM. All signatures must be signed before they can check-out of school. Diplomas will be held until the check-out sheets are completed. Ms. Cain will sign for Mr. Owen and will be the last person to sign the sheet after locker inspections. Teachers are not to let students out of class to gather signatures.
Official check-out for Seniors will take place at 3:00 PM on Thursday, may 3rd. Seniors will be on a regular schedule until this time. They will report to the Senior locker area when they are dismissed and will need to take care of the following items before they can check-out: library fines, lunch money balance, make-up slips turned in. No diplomas will be signed until all these items are taken care of.
Graduation rehearsal will take place at 2:30 PM on Tuesday, May 1st. Attendance is required.
Students must make sure that their lockers are clean, with no tape or markings on the locker. All lockers will be closely inspected.
The Welcome, Farewell, and Student Address speeches need to be turned in by April 27th and will be read over the system on Sunday prior to graduation.
Graduation begins at 2:30 PM on Sunday, May 6th. Students should be at the school by 12:00 PM for pictures, and should report directly to the library.
Students should pick up NHS collars on Thursday, May 3rd. Honor tassels and medals will be available on Friday, May 4th once grades are final.
