BHS Homecoming Royalty Crowned

Burwell High School celebrated another successful Homecoming during September 26-30, 2011. King Colby Wurst and Queen Sara Swett were crowned following an exciting Longhorn football victory over the North Central Knights. Other Homecoming Royalty included Scott Jeffres, Kate McClintic, Jacob Birch, Jamey Domeier, Tony Charron, Caitlin Garner, Sam Lee and Emily Plock.
Sara and Colby were crowned by 2011 Queen, Rachelle Plock and Cory Johnson, 2011 Royalty who was representing the absent King, Tyler Miller. The group continued the Homecoming celebration with a Student Council sponsored dance on Saturday night.
Winners of the banner decoration contest were: Class of 2016-1st place, Class of 2015-2nd place, and Class of 2013-third place.
