Homecoming Royalty was announced on Friday, September 20, for BHS. Candidates include Trystan Jarecke, Evan Gideon, Haley Curry, Michael Jensen, Laini Eddy, Keenan Kremke, Emilie Chaffin, Will McClintic, Johanna Wagner and Cody Hogmire. Burwell Public Schools hosted Homecoming activities during the week of September 23-28, 2013. Schools were dismissed at 1:45 p.m. on Friday, September 27th for a community pep rally in the gym at Burwell High School. Burwell was victorious over the North Central Knights in football action on Friday, September 27th at 7:00 pm. Homecoming King and Queen, Laini Eddy & Cody Hogmire were crowned after the football game against North Central. The Homecoming Dance finished up the week's activities in the High School Commons Room on Saturday, September 28th from 8:30 p.m. to 12 a.m.
