Reading Incentive Programs
You can access your child's AR reading records by selecting the Renaissance Home Connect icon to the left. Contact the school if you need the information to access your child's AR account. The log in and password should be the same as your student logs into his/ her account while at school. Students are unable to take tests through Home Connect.
The Accelerated Reader (AR) program by Renaissance Place is a computer based reading recall and comprehension program. Students take tests to measure recall of facts within the text read as well as comprehension. Books are leveled according to the ATOS level through the Accelerated Reader program. It is recommended (may or may not be required) students read within his/ her level based on the STAR testing program which is administered at the beginning of each quarter. For questions regarding your student's individual goal, please contact his/ her classroom teacher. For questions regarding the AR program, contact the librarian.

Rockstar Reader
This program was designed as a partnership with BES library and Pizza Palace in an effort to support a local business, as well as, promote the importance of reading. Rockstar Reader complements the AR program but may have varied requirements for earning the certificate. One certificate is good for an order of cheese sticks and a small drink. Expiration dates will apply.
