Linda Gross from First Interstate Bank joined the Burwell senior seminar class on Friday, Nov 15th to answer questions about banking and finances. The students have been learning about budgeting in class and had a lot of questions about different kinds of accounts and ways to save money. Linda shared the difference between a checking and savings account, various ways to save money with CDs and IRAs, the importance of an emergency savings fund, credit cards, financial planning, and scams. The best advice Linda shared was "Manage your money and don't let it manage you".
