Burwell Principal Adam Stolzer is Featured on Nation-Wide Educational Podcast

Adam Stolzer, High School Principal at Burwell Public Schools, was recently a guest of Brian Martin, a New York teacher and host of the “Teaching Champions” podcast. The podcast is dedicated to inspiring and bringing joy to educators and has a large nation-wide following.
Mr. Stolzer took the opportunity to highlight the many positive things that are happening at Burwell Public Schools and explain his hands-on approach to education. He commented on his role as an administrator and the importance of being present in a school setting. With the help of his mentor, Mr. Stolzer developed his own system of visibility, even implementing a mobile workstation that allows him to work from the hallway so that he can be around the students more.
Mr. Stolzer developed his own educational motto in, “the Power of PURPLE” which includes the pillars of passion, uniqueness, reflection, pride, legacy, evolve. The motto can be seen throughout the school as a reminder of these qualities.
Adam Stolzer is in his second year as the High School Principal at Burwell Public Schools. Previously he served as a junior and senior high school Math instructor at Burwell; a position that he began in 2015 after graduating from Wayne State College. He was also the head boys basketball coach. In 2021, Stolzer completed a Master of Arts in Education degree in 7-12 School Principalship from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and is currently working on his Education Specialist degree from Wayne State College with the support of his wife, Rachelle, and their two children.
