The Burwell Jr Sr High School Senior Seminar class has been doing random acts of kindness throughout the 2022-2023 school year. After reading the chapter "Seeds and Fruits" in the book Habitudes: the Art of Preparing for a Career very early in the school year, the students have been planting seeds of kindness in a variety of ways. Each week students created anonymous encouraging notes with a piece of candy to put in student's lockers, we delivered a meal to a fellow student who was under quarantine with their family, and we have been decorating a portion of the commons room for everyone to enjoy each quarter with a different theme. "It is our hope that every seed we plant will have a positive effect on others," said Miss Tetschner, "and create good habits for our future endeavors."
