Burwell Jr.-Sr. High School’s Senior Seminar class welcomed Linda Gross from Security First Bank in Burwell as a guest speaker on Thursday, October 22. Linda shared valuable information about opening bank accounts, different account options, credit cards, credit scores, saving money, fraud prevention, and loans.
She also offered practical “adulting” advice for students as they prepare for life after high school: pay your bills and obligations in full each month, never spend more than you earn, save some money, invest some money, and give some money to charity. These important lessons will help students build a strong foundation for their financial futures!
We sincerely thank Linda for sharing her knowledge, time, and many years of service with our community. As she prepares to retire on October 30, we wish her all the best in this exciting new chapter of life.
